At KEXP, we appreciate gifts of all sizes. A donation of any amount makes you a member of KEXP and you’ll receive a special KEXP bumper sticker.
Yes, your gift to KEXP is fully tax-deductible to the extent allowable by U.S. law, minus the fair market value of any thank you gifts requested. We will send you an acknowledgement letter for your contribution which can be saved for tax purposes. KEXP is not a tax-deductible charity in Canada. Tax statements are available by request.
Thank you gifts are generally mailed within 2-3 weeks of the first payment of your donation. Due to the high volume of donations received during on-air fundraising drives, thank you gifts are mailed within 3-4 weeks. We rely on volunteers to package and ship thank-you gifts, so we appreciate your patience!

In order to maximize your gift to support programming, KEXP cannot accommodate size exchanges of clothing items.

Yes, you can make your donation a gift in the name of someone else who will then receive the donor benefits. To do so, we will need both your and the gift recipient’s information. This is done easiest over the phone, so please call 206-520-5843 to arrange this, rather than proceeding with the donation online.
Give Donor Services a call at 206-520-5843 and we'll update your payment plan with your new information. Because we do not store credit card numbers, we always need the entire card number, expiration date and security code in order to update your payment plan. If for any reason your card was not able to process, but the card information has not changed, please still call Donor Services to provide the full credit card information so that we can manually catch you up on missed payments. Please do not email your credit card number to us.

You will be asked to renew your support for KEXP one year from the date of your first gift or last renewal contribution, which is the date listed at the bottom of your donor benefits card. We'll begin sending you renewal notices by mail and email a few months before that time. When you make a gift to the station in response to one of these renewal notices, you’ll receive a thank-you letter with a new donor benefits card and renewal notices will discontinue. You may be able to double the impact of your donation to KEXP by participating in your company’s matching gift program. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, KEXP is eligible for many employers' corporate matching gift programs, and is acknowledged as “Friends of KEXP” or through the University of Washington as part of an educational institution. Workplace giving programs maximize your gift to KEXP because your employer automatically matches your gift to KEXP! Because workplace giving automatically matches the full amount of your gift, donations made through workplace giving are not legally eligible for thank-you gifts.
