KEXP's mission to enrich lives by championing music and discovery is directed in service to three constituent groups - music lovers, artists, and the greater community. To that end, KEXP embarks on projects and programming that serves distict needs in the community. We deliver radio programming that inspires and illuminates, connecting people to causes and to each other. We deliver educational programming to young people interested in building skills in media creation, music curation, and the business of music. We help raise funds and awareness for worthy causes through music and music experiences, and we provide free and low-barrier access to live music performance.
