After briefly dipping my toes into the college radio arena, I was inducted into the Sonic Reducer family in 2014 after having moved here from San Jose, California. I love the music landscape in Seattle because it offers accessibility to the all-ages crowd. It is my belief you cannot have a healthy music community without diversity, and that includes the involvement of the under-21 crowd. Of course I have a huge love for punk and hardcore music, but I certainly don’t shy away from throwing in a funk or disco song – you gotta mix it up when you mix it out.
