Lace Cadence was raised in the Central District and first immersed in the local Seattle music scene as a child during the height of grunge in the 90’s. As an emcee and vocalist, Lace made waves with his early solo career and as one-third of rap outfit Clockwork. He is one-third of the electronic R&B outfit The Flavr Blue, and has performed across the country and internationally, including Dakar, Tokyo, and Stockholm.
Known for helping to break the AfroBeats genre into the big club scene and airwaves in Seattle, Lace brings a personal passion to his shows and events.
From his staple AfroHouse at Q nightclub to the dance showcase Tune 4 Tune at Neumos, Lace represents Africa and his Senegalese heritage proudly throughout the city.
