How to destroy angels_, Trent Reznor's collaboration with his wife, Mariqueen Maandig, and Atticus Ross, announced this morning that their debut album is on its way. Welcome oblivion will be out March 5 on Columbia Records, Stereogum reports, but those are all the details we have for now. However, Reznor & Co. have shared the video for "The Loop Closes," a track off last year's An omen_ EP. Check out the crackly, static-filled video below.

What a coincidence: on the same day that Welcome oblivion is due for release, another elder statesman of experimental rock and his new collaborators will be releasing their debut album. That man is none other than Thurston Moore, and his new band is called Chelsea Light Moving. (Perhaps you've heard the three tracks they released last year: "Frank O'Hara Hit," "Burroughs," and "Groovy & Linda.") According to Pitchfork, the band will be embarking on a North American tour when Moore gets back from his tour of Ireland with drummer John Moloney. Catch CLM on tour this spring, and look for their self-titled record out on Matador in March.

Crystal Castles will also be hitting the road once again for an extended tour of... wait, where aren't Crystal Castles touring this year? According to their website, the band will play a string of dates in Australia this month before taking on Japan, Europe, South America, and the US. Tickets for their show at the Moore on April 30 just went on sale, so get 'em while you can, and don't forget to use the password "KEXP"! Finally, The New York Times has provided us with a full stream of former Girls frontman Christopher Owens' forthcoming debut album, Lysandre. The paper published a profile on Owens yesterday, detailing his childhood in the Children of God cult, his Oxycontin addiction, and his San Francisco lifestyle. Lysandre will be out on Fat Possum next Tuesday.
