Seattle confectioners Full Tilt Ice Cream will be celebrating the release of their new flavor Mudhoney, the ice cream, with noneother than Mudhoney, the band! According to their press release, "Mudhoney ice cream mixes satisfying riffs of in-your-face cinnamon with a mellow backbeat of honey and fudge, all rounded out with Full Tilt’s creamy hand-made texture." Philadelphia band The War on Drugs have announced a new album out March 18th on Secretly Canadian, titled Lost in the Dream. You can stream the track "Red Eyes" below. They also announced their North American tour dates, including a March 28th stop at The Neptune in Seattle. [Pitchfork]

James Murphy hasn't slowed down a bit since ending his LCD Soundsystem project -- maybe thanks to this new brand of espresso he's crafted. Murphy describes it, "It’s a very neutral espresso with really intense elements. No filler, all really good single-origin beans. It’s lighter than a traditional Italian roast, but not as light as a Nordic espresso." Plans are being made to make it available to the public. [Rolling Stone]

Tennis, anyone? Best Coast have released a new video from their mini-album Fade Away featuring founding duo Bethany and Bobb. They'll be returning to Seattle on February 18th, opening for The Pixies at the Paramount Theater. [Pitchfork]

And speaking of The Pixies, frontman Black Francis has a graphic novel coming out in the UK May 2014 with Josh Frank, author of the Pixies biography Fool the World, and illustrator Steven Appleby, from UK publication The Guardian. Titled The Good Inn, the publisher describes the comic as "a fantastical piece of illustrated fiction based on a yet-to-be-written soundtrack to a movie that doesn't yet exist." [Spin]
