Join KEXP, CityArts, and Neumos in supporting the 8th edition of Dancing on the Valentine: A Cure for Leukemia — A Tribute to The Cure and Fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society . On February 9th at Neumos some of our favorite Seattle bands will be covering songs by The Cure. The lineup includes Adra Boo, Daniel G. Harmann & The Trouble Starts, Erik Blood, Fox and the Law, Gibraltar, Head Like a Kite, Hotels, Lesli Wood of the Redwood Plan with Jupe Jupe, NighTraiN, Panama Gold, The Grizzled Mighty, and Vox Mod, plus DJ Mike Steve.

Dancing on the Valentine was started by Jenny George, who at 12 years-old was diagnosed with Leukemia and told that she would never have children and would most likely not live longer than a month. She beat the disease when she was 16, and pulled through the arduous chemo treatments by listening to Duran Duran. Not only is she alive and healthy years later, but she is a dedicated mother and takes her birthday every year (which is Valentine's Day) to organize this benefit show for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The 21+ show starts at 8pm on February 9th. Tickets are $15, and you can get them here.
