Noise-rock duo Stagnant Pools have been compared to the likes of Sonic Youth and Disappears, but they truly have a flavor all their own. Bryan and Douglass Enas are recent graduates of Indiana University that are using this exciting time in their lives to make a dream a reality. The brothers have the amazing ability to create such deep, complex sound with just one guitar and a drum. Bryan's hushed voice really serves as a background to pounding percussion and fervid electric guitar that capture the true essence of Stagnant Pool's shoegaze style. The power of this blend is really evident in the songs "Consistency" and "Solitude". A pretty fantastic example of their serious talent is the fact that they were able to record their first studio album (Temporary Room) in just one day.
