If you've been listening to the Morning Show with John Richards, you've probably heard a lot of up-and-comers Wild Cub, whose energetic, electronic-infused sound takes the best from 80's new wave romanticism, R&B and indie rock and makes it impossible to sit still. Back in February, the Nashville group, started by songwriter-composer Keegan DeWitt and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Bullock but now a full-fledged band, played to an ecstatic sold-out Seattle crowd and performed a memorable set in our studio. Knowing the rest of the world will catch on soon, we knew we had to book them for our SXSW broadcast. They've got a handful of festivals lined up for the summer, including the Capitol Hill Block Party, but you can feel the energy as they turn Mellow Johnny's Bike Shop into our very own dance club:
