  • Yeah Yeah Yeahs' have released the video for the title track off of their new album, Mosquito. It literally shows a disturbingly large mosquito feeding on a little boy before it gets squished. It's pretty cringe worthy. [Pitchfork]

  • The video for her most recent single, "Master Hunter," proves that Laura Marling doesn't need big theatrics to showcase her impressive talent. Her voice is pure and strong as she sits back and strums her guitar while a couple performs an interesting interpretive dance. Look for her new album, Once I Was an Eagle, which will drop on May 28 via Virgin Records.[Stereogum]

  • Producer Chris Schlarb will feature singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens on his new album Psychic Temple II (out July 16 via Asthmatic Kitty). On the record Stevens covers "Til I Die," the 1971 hit by the Beach Boys. The track also features the vocals of Nedelle Torrisi (of Paradise) and Ray Raposa (of Castanets). Their beautiful harmony makes this combination absolutely brilliant. [Pitchfork]

  • The video for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds song "Mermaids" is a live performance of the track. For what it lacks in storytelling and fancy visuals it more than makes up for it with Cave's haunting voice. The black and white actually fits the song's vibe perfectly. [CoS]

  • Just in time for summer, Club 8 has dropped, "I'm Not Gonna Grow Old," a radiant new song from their upcoming LP Above the City. This is something that makes me feel like I took a trip back to the 80's. Before you listen put on some parachute pants, it will only heighten the experience. [Stereogum]
