"Holy lord that was loud," said DJ Sean of hardcore trio METZ's near-My Bloody Valentine level of noise. "I don't want to put too fine of a point on it. But it was loud." Only six months after their first visit to KEXP's studios, Alex Edkins, Chris Slorach, and Hayden Menzies were back in Seattle looking to try and blow our speakers for a second time. They've only got one album under their belts - last year's fantastic self-titled LP - but they came back armed with four more tunes from METZ before heading out on the road again. Six months from now, they'll be in Europe, but tomorrow they'll be at the Sub Pop Silver Jubilee, celebrating the iconic Seattle label's 25th anniversary. Go there and watch them for free!
