A mere 90-minute drive north of Seattle lies the dreamy town of Anacortes, and if you haven't visited yet, lemme tell ya, this is the weekend to do so! The third annual Anacortes Unknown Music Series, kicks off Friday, July 19th and runs through Sunday, July 21st.
Unknown is a continuation of the long-running What the Heck Festival, and boasts many of the same special details: aside from the music, there will be a rummage sale curated by K Records legendary singer/songwriter Lois, a small press book fair, a talent show, slideshow presentations, and more.
And, of course, the music! It's another stellar line-up from Unknown, showcasing the veterans of their local scene like Mount Eerie, LAKE, and Karl Blau, alongside newcomers like Ever Ending Kicks and Hungry Cloud Darkening.
Three-Day passes are sold out, but tickets will be sold at all shows (except the dinner show on Saturday). All the shows in Causland Park are open and free to the public. And start thinking of a special talent you can bust out at Sunday's talent show! See you there!
