KEXP’s Community Partnership & Benefit Show: Rain City Rock Camp For Girls

Tomorrow night at Barboza, Audioasis presents Gibraltar, Dust Moth, and Wishbeard as part of KEXP’s Community Partnerships Initiative, a concert series that highlights and raises money for a local non-profit. This concert also marks the release of Wishbeard EP.

This month’s featured partner is Rain City Rock Camp For Girls, a non-profit whose commitment to cultivating originality and creativity in music aligns perfectly with KEXP’s mission. Rain City Rock Camp For Girls is dedicated to building positive self-esteem in girls and encouraging creative expression through music. Their music education programs provide girls with an opportunity to participate in an environment that fosters leadership, encourages social change, and cultivates a supportive community of female peers and mentors.

Five things you can do right now to get involved with Rain City Rock Camp for Girls

  1. Sign up for our Ladies Rock Camp program Sept 20th-22nd.
  2. Sign up to volunteer for Summer Camp in early spring of next year.
  3. Come to our a 2nd annual Fall Gala on November 23rd at Georgetown Ballroom.
  4. Sign up for our email list, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to get updated information about all of our shows, events, and programs.
