DC power trio Ex Hex (led by former-Wild Flag/Helium frontwoman Mary Timony) get animated in the video for the track "Waterfall," off their incredible debut Rips, out now on Merge Records. New York-based cartoonist/director M. Wartella described it in a press release as: "It’s basically Rock & Roll Space Vixens invade Washington, DC. I wanted to give the awesome ladies of Ex Hex the Ed Wood treatment and create something like a Russ Meyer or Corman film: Fast, Cheap & Out of Control."
