  • Brooklyn indiepopsters The Pains of Being Pure At Heart share a new video today for the track "Kelly," off their most recent release Days Of Abandon. Directed by Art Boonparn, the video reflects the warm, lovely light of the song itself. Jen Goma of A Sunny Day in Glasgow takes lead on vocals. Watch below: [Pitchfork]

  • DFA trio Factory Floor take the Interpol track "My Desire" out for a spin, and the result is a sinister seven-minute-long track that bears little resemblance to the original. Check out their remix below. You can find the original version on Interpol's album El Pintor, out now on Matador. [Stereogum]

  • Speaking of remixes, Seattle's own Shabazz Palaces add their touch to the track "Springful" by the UK-based group Adult Jazz. In an interview with FADER, Adult Jazz frontman Harry Burgess says, “Shabazz Palaces had us at dancing around with giant maracas at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds in 2012. We’ve been massive fans since Black Up, so a remix from them felt really special.” No surprise: it's a heavily-layered affair, true to the Sub Pop duo's unique aesthetic. Stream their take below, and hear the original on the album Gist, out now on Spare Thought. [Under the Radar]

  • And, surprise! Panda Bear (aka Noah Lennox of Animal Collective) has sprung a new EP on us, featuring tracks that didn't make the cut for his forthcoming new full-length, Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper, out January 13th on Domino Records. And he's included "Mr Noah," the album's first single on the EP, which you can also watch the video for below. [Consequence of Sound]
