With Sasquatch! coming up on Memorial Day Weekend, and then Capitol Hill Block Party, Pickathon, MFNW and Bumbershoot following this summer, there is already a sizable list of local music festivals amassing in the Northwest's collective conscious. But you can kick off the festival season this weekend, while avoiding high ticket prices or transportation costs, with a relative newcomer right here in Seattle's backyard. Located in Everett, an emerging amplified music and arts scene, Fisherman's Village Music Festival will take place on the 16th and 17th of May.
Featured artists will include KEXP favorites like Moondoggies, Gardens & Villa, La Luz, Wampire, Rose Windows, Chad Valley, Benjamin Verdoes, Pure Bathing Culture, The Maldives, Fly Moon Royalty, Cumulus, Fox and the Law, Lemolo, Midday Veil, Tango Alpha Tango, and many other great Northwest artists. Get your tickets here, and visit their webpage for more information.
