  • Broken Bells, the duo of The Shins' James Mercer and Danger Mouse, stopped by Late Show With Dave Letterman last night to promote their album After The Disco. During the late night broadcast they performed the track "Control," but they obviously had bigger plans for the show's webcast. They ended up treating everyone in the Ed Sullivan Theater to a full hour of music. Watch the entire performance below. [Pitchfork]

  • Rhode Island based producer AraabMuzik will release his newest mixtape Professional Use Only 2 on July 14. His single "Summer Time" capitalizes of the success of several remixes of Lana Del Rey's hit "Summertime Sadness," but he still manages to keep it fresh. [Stereogum]

  • Chromeo have announced their tour schedule in support of the recently released album White Women. The Frequent Flyer tour is appropriately sponsored by the strange Canadian Airline Mallard Air, which Chromeo happened to invest in last week. The electro-funk duo will perform at Capitol Hill Block party on July 26. [Pitchfork]

  • Veruca Salt have shared the video for one of their first new songs in about 15 years. "It's Holy" was released earlier this year as the B-side of their Record Store Day contribution. The video has a very comfortable and laid-back feel. It's got your typical footage of the band working in-studio, but what really makes it special are the charming, homemade fan videos featured throughout. [CoS]

  • Today you can stream rapper Ab-Soul's album These Days in its entirety. The 18-track collection features verses from Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Schoolboy Q, Mac Miller, and many more. Ab-Soul's name might not be as widely popular as other up-and-coming rappers, but it's only a matter of time before that changes. [CMJ]
