Summers in Seattle just keep getting better and better: now beloved local label Light in the Attic Records have announced they're launching a Summer Spectacular series at their new warehouse/storefront in Ballard. Join them on Saturday, July 12th for a very special performance from Donnie & Joe Emerson — it's hard to believe this will only be their third show in over thirty years! There will also be a rare solo set from Alex Maas of The Black Angels, in town all the way from Austin, TX. Wheedle’s Groove alumni Overton Berry will also grace the stage, and DJ Suspence will be spinning in-between sets.
The fun kicks off at 3:00 PM, and there will be a fleet of food trucks around to keep you fed as you twist the night away. The Light in the Attic Record Store is located at 913 NW 50th Street in Ballard. This event is FREE, All Ages, and open to all! (Plus, enjoy 10% off items in the record shop throughout the day.)
