This weekend, "R" stands for "rock," "roll," and Rainier Beer! Join KEXP this Saturday, October 24th for "R Day," a fundraiser for KEXP's New Home. We'll be celebrating in the Old Rainier Brewery with special musical guests, Beat Connection and The Helio Sequence. KEXP DJ Sharlese will be spinning between bands.
For a special treat, the Old Rainier Brewery will unveil an ice skating rink, that will make things especially interesting after a few beers. (Bring knee pads?) Attendees are also invited to team up for the Jubilee Team Challenge, a fun and friendly competition for 12 teams of 4 that includes Flip Cup, Giant Jenga and an Ice Skating Relay Race! Shuttles will run from Safeco Parking Garage [337 Edgar Martinez Dr S] to The Old Rainier Brewery every 30 minutes starting at 4PM until 12AM on event day.
