  • UK quartet Savages share a new single from their highly-anticipated sophomore release, Adore Life, out January 22nd via Matador. The album was recorded in London with producer Johnny Hostile and engineer Richard Woodcraft, and mixed in Copenhagen with Trentemøller. The video for the track "The Answer" was directed by Giorgio Testi at Pulse. In a press release, the band say, "We've observed our audience all around the world and noticed that something is happening. People want to be pushed to do good, or to be good, or just to feel good. We wanted a very intense video, that felt like banging your head against the wall, focusing on our audience: a portrait of our crowd, an homage to music lovers and the good people who are coming to gigs and shouting their lungs out, or just smiling at the back. We were touched by them every night, and wanted to get their message out there: loud guitar music is still alive and still connects people." Get connected below: [Under the Radar]

  • We're excited to share new music from Seattle's own Pillar Point (aka Throw Me The Statue’s Scott Reitherman)! Check out the single "Part Time Love" below, the lead track on his upcoming full-length Marble Mouth, out January 22nd on Polyvinyl. The track features bass lines from none other than of Montreal’s Kevin Barnes, who owns the Athens, GA studio where Reitherman recorded. Check it out below, and get ready to dance when Pillar Point throws down a DJ set at Neumos on Wednesday, November 4th. [Stereogum]

  • Last night, Blur stopped by the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and for fan-favorite single "Parklife," they brought out none other than Portlandia star Fred Armisen. Watch fan-shot footage below of Armisen's cheeky take on the lyrics. It'll be interesting to see who they bring out Friday night at their Madison Square Garden show in New York City! [Spin]

  • Brooklyn-based Oneohtrix Point Never (aka producer/composer Daniel Lopatin) returns with a new album next month titled Garden of Delete. Lopatin told Rolling Stone the release was recorded in a windowless room, adding "I had this dungeon reality and it was also kind of like I was uninhibited, like I would just get into the zone, work for like 17 hours." Check out the hefty eight-minute single "Mutant Standard" below. Garden of Delete hits stores November 13th via Warp Records. [Consequence of Sound]
