  • In honor of Record Store Day (April 18), Blitzen Trapper are putting out a special live cover album of Neil Young's 1972 classic Harvest. They've shared "Heart of Gold," the first single off the clevery titled, Live Harvest. Listen below. [Stereogum]

  • On April 27, Danish band Mew will drop their sixth studio album, +-. Today they've debuted the hard-hitting, album track "Witness." The album is shaping up to be a well rounded collection, as "Witness" is a much livelier number than their previous +- releases. [Pitchfork]

  • Kindness, a.k.a. Adam Bainbridge, unveiled the video for his Otherness track "I'll Be Back." Directed by Daniel Brereton, the video stars Kelly Campbell and Alanna Street as two travel companions road tripping down an English highway. [Stereogum]

  • POP ETC have shared a killer cover of Tom Petty's mega-hit "Won't Back Down." The indie rockers have covered a couple different songs this year, including Gin Blossoms' "Follow You Down" and Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game." Let's hope this trend continues, because they're unique style really injects some new life into these classics. [Stereogum]
