Branden Clarke is IG88. He’s a wonderful up-and-coming producer who has recently worked with Shaprece on her EP, Molting, which is also pretty wonderful. Each year on his birthday, Branden gives away a new song, and this year he released “Submerged”. I kinda flipped out when I heard it! The vocalist he worked with on the track is Jenni Potts, and both Branden and Jenni are connected through Bellingham! Jenni sounds super fucking awesome in this song! I’ve always loved her vocals, but this particular song is amazing! I love how lush and dreamy this song is! This song makes you feel right.
IG88 just finished a round of shows with Shaprece, but you can her him perform his own music LIVE on KEXP this Saturday, April 18, at 6:30PM as part of a special Electronic Audioasis. After that, he'll then perform live at The Sunset on Friday, April 24. Look for more music and dates on this website and Facebook page.
