For once, you'll feel good about feeling blue: today is the 8th Annual World Autism Awareness Day, and to help spread awareness, the community is encouraged to "Light It Up Blue." Buildings from the Empire State Building, The Great Pyramid in Egypt, Niagara Falls, and, in Seattle, the Space Needle and Seattle Pacific University will be lit up in blue lights to get people talking about this neurodevelopmental disorder. And KEXP will be lighting up the airwaves by playing sky-toned tracks every hour from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, to help support the cause.
