  • San Francisco rockers Thee Oh Sees have shared the opening track from their upcoming album Mutilator Defeated At Last (out May 18). "Withered Hand" goes for broke with a steady buildup and an explosive payoff. The band has also contributed a song called "The Ceiling" to the 50 Bands & a Cat for Indiana Equality compilation (available HERE), of which all proceeds go to Indy Pride, Freedom Indiana, and the ACLU of Indiana.   • Seattle electronic duo ODEZA recently created their own label called Foreign Family Collective. They've signed LA producer Big Wild and have debuted "Aftergold," his first single since joining the label. [Sterogum]

  • To show their fan club how much they are appreciated, Weezer gifted members with a special 7-inch single of a brand new song. Now, "Everybody Needs Salvation" is available to everyone. the song was recorded around the same time as last year's amazing Everything Will Be Alright In The End. [CoS]
