Ben Gibbard continues his campaign against L.A. with the Death Cab for Cutie video for "The Ghosts of Beverly Drive." The clip for the latest Kintsugi single features the band on a celebrity-sighting tour bus with Gibbard as the reluctant tour guide. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Gibbard explains, "For every great thing about the city and the experience of living there, there is an offsetting negative that, for me, makes my feelings about L.A. a net zero in terms of personal connection. The culture of celebrity tours feeds into this…it leaves me feeling cold and indifferent, and we wanted to make a video that captures that feeling of detachment." DCFC show their hometown love with two nights at The Paramount, Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th. [Pitchfork]

You never know what to expect from Beck: today he unveils a new track that's totally different from what you heard on last year's Grammy-Award winning album Morning Phase. The upbeat dance track was performed by Beck and Greg Kurstin (a member of Beck's touring band), and written by Beck, Kurstin, and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow. Check it out below: [Under the Radar]
