After a tumultuous four years (in which frontman Zach Condon went through an ugly divorce and was later hospitalized), it's great to see Beirut being silly and having a good time again. Check out the playful video for "No No No" (directed by Brother Willis) below. Will skunks and baguettes be used on Tuesday, October 13th at The Paramount? We'll find out together. The long-awaited fourth album, also titled No No No, hits stores on September 11th via 4AD. [Pitchfork]

Sadly, The Supersuckers have had to cancel their European tour as frontman/bassist Eddie Spaghetti has been diagnosed with stage 3 oropharynx cancer. Spaghetti will undergo surgery and radiation treatments this summer. The band have started a Cancer Fight Fund to help the beloved musician and his family — more details here. The Supersuckers play their last show for a while tonight at the Tractor Tavern. [Anti Music]

After seven long years, Mercury Rev return with a new album, The Light In You, out September 18th via Bella Union. Check out the debut single "The Queen of Swans" below. Due to scheduling conflicts, it's the band's first album without longtime producer/non-touring band member Dave Fridmann, but Mercury Rev's own Jonathan Donahue and Sean Mackowiak (aka Grasshopper) took over recording, along with engineer Scott Petito and bassist Anthony Molina. European tour dates have been announced, with US dates to follow soon. [Under the Radar]

Last year, former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr released the excellent solo album Playland, but he's just getting around to sharing a video from it. Watch the clip for the track "Candidate" below, a track that'll also be released as a 7" single on June 29th. [Under the Radar]
