The Fremont Fair stays fresh, even as it celebrates its 44th year -- after last year's successful launch of a separate paid admission main stage, Fremont Solstice Music Festival 2015 brings hip hop masterminds Deltron 3030 and legendary locals Presidents of the United States.
Friday is a hip hop, hippie to the hippie with headliners Deltron 3030, along with local hip hop artist Ra Scion, and up-and-coming Ayo Dot & the Uppercuts. Presidents of the United States take the stage Saturday with a mix of old faves and more recent tunes sure to please the PUSA devout, along with opening acts Ayron Jones and the Way, and Fox and the Law. There is still plenty of amazing free music, as well, on the Waterfront stage. Saturday's sounds range from the soul funk of The Dip to the jazzy McTuff to the hip hop/world music/pop mix Publish The Quest. In addition, there's a humongous craft fair, art and art cars, plus kids activities galore.
All ages. $25 single day pass, $45 for a two-day pass, $5 more day of. Kids 10 and under free. The main stage shows start at 6 p.m. Buy tickets here.
