  • All year long, Seattle's own Macklemore has been on the campaign path against the opioid crisis in America, even teaming up with President Obama for a White House Address (see here). Today, he shares a video for the track "Drug Dealer," a homebred single featuring guest vocals from Ariana DeBoo and co-production from Joshua “Budo” Karp. Check out the harrowing clip below. It's the first new music we've had from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis since This Unruly Mess I've Made, released earlier this year. [Spin]

  • For a video that's haunting in a whole different way, The Shins share a mysterious clip titled "I Gleek On Your Grave" via their Twitter. Designed to look like a low-budget VHS-era horror B-movie, the video spotlights frontman James Mercer amongst all the weirdness. It's perfect for the Halloween season! The band will release a new album in early 2017, their first since 2012’s Port of Morrow. [Under the Radar]

  • Yesterday's in-studio guests Yeasayer share a new track today, a b-side on the Cold Night EP that hits stores on Friday. Stream the single "Loan Shark Blues" below, a song so good you wonder why they left it off the track list. It may not be an album track, but the band's latest LP Amen & Goodbye is out now via Mute. The band play tonight at WaMu Theatre, opening for M83. [Stereogum]

  • Continuing the kooky clips is Split Single, project of Jason Narducy, bassist for Bob Mould and Superchunk. Back in 2014, he released the mockumentary "The Sexiest Elbows in Rock Music" with Britt Daniel, Fred Armisen, Dave Grohl, and many others praising Narducy's joint between the forearm and the upper arm. They're taking the joke even further, releasing two new episodes next month that will have more of a storyline. From the trailer below, guest stars include Jeff Tweedy, Sharon Van Etten, Frank Black, and more. It is no coincidence: the new Split Single LP, Metal Frames, hits stores November 18th via Inside Outside Records. [Pitchfork]
