Costa Rica blows my mind. Not only is there some of the most amazingly diverse and beautiful terrain in the world inside this tiny country, but it also has one of the most dynamic and exciting rock n roll scenes. It was hard to chose a band to represent CR, but I wanted to go with something extra heavy, so I chose Los Crveles. Shredding garage punk that gets me mad scrunch-face hype in the best way, every fucking time. And as a bonus, "Desastre" has the honor of sporting my favorite homoerotic wrestling video of all time. Not sure I have a second favorite, but that matters not.
