The LP Volcano will be out March 3rd, 2017 via Fat Possum, their first new album since their 2014 debut, Sun Structures. Via a press release, frontman James Bagshaw says, "If there's a sense of scale. It was really just a result of implementing a load of things that we didn't know about the first time around. Check out the video for the single "Certainty" below. [Under the Radar]

  • Northern neighbors Japandroids have a new album coming out early next year, too. Near to the Wild Heart of Life will hit stores via ANTI- Records. Check out a 37-second trailer below. The Canadian duo premiered a bunch of new songs in Vancouver earlier this month. [Consequence of Sound]

FLOTUS is out this Friday via Merge/City Slang. [Stereogum]
