  • When the most recent Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds album, Skeleton Tree, hit stores earlier this fall, it was accompanied by the release of the documentary, One More Time With Feeling, a gorgeous, if heart-wrenching, feature-length film on the making of the album. The film returns to theaters on December 1st (including an encore engagement at the SIFF Cinema Uptown), and today, the band share a video for the track "Magneto," featuring footage from the movie. Watch below. The band are embarking on a North American tour next year -- no Seattle date yet, but there is a mysterious gap in the schedule around Memorial Day weekend, hmmm. [Under the Radar]

  • Clothing-coordinated Brooklyn band Lucius are releasing a new 10-inch single on Black Friday (November 25th) titled Pulling Teeth. Get a taste with the track "The Punisher" below. The EP is pressed on lovely limited edition orange 100 gram vinyl, and has a custom etching on the b-side. Pre-orders going on now. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Back in 1994, Mike Watt (of Minutemen, Firehose, more) released his breakout debut solo album Ball-Hog or Tugboat?, a star-studded affair featuring Henry Rollins, Thurston Moore, J Mascis, Adam Horovitz, Mike Diamond, Frank Black, Evan Dando, Nels Cline, and many more. For a Chicago show the following year, he was backed by buddies Eddie Vedder, Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, and William Goldsmith, and a recording from that show will be released this Friday as “ring spiel” tour ’95, via Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings. Stream the show below. [Stereogum]

  • Speaking of the '90s, grunge supergroup Temple of the Dog played their first reunion show late last week in Philadelphia. Check out fan-shot footage from the show below, with an impressive 23-song set list, including covers of Mother Love Bone, The Cure (it's not "Caterpillar"), Syd Barrett, and more. The band play their hometown show November 20th at the Paramount Theatre. [Pitchfork]
