Renton collective Dre’zy and Too Smoove cite influences from A Tribe Called Quest to Snarky Puppy, bringing a soulful hip-hop to their beat-driven sound.
Lake Stevens electropop duo Paralexis features University of Washington sophomore Alexander Bonilla and Seattle University sophomore Aprille Perez. Together, they create dreamy synth sounds with Perez's airy vocals.

James Atkins, bassist for Hammerbox and longtime fixture of the Seattle music scene, sadly passed away on Saturday, February 27th after a battle with esophageal cancer. He was surrounded by friends and his favorite music, including AC/DC, Motörhead, Soul Asylum, and The Replacements.
