  • Enjoy a "short" film about The "Tallest" Man on Earth: Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson presents an eight-minute behind-the-scenes clip on the making of his latest album Dark Bird Is Home. Directors Dan Huiting and Lauren Josephine show Matsson at home and in the studio, and the musician narrates the piece in both Swedish and English. It's utterly charming; watch below: [Under the Radar]

  • Registration is now open for the 2016 Converse Rubber Tracks Pop-Up Studio experience. Through March 28th, local musicians can apply for free studio time at Avast! Recording Company with legendary producer Jack Endino as a special guest engineer. For more information, and to throw your band's name in the hat, click here: [Converse]

  • You won't be disappointed with the latest clip from UK sophisti-pop sibling-led group Field Music. Director Andy Martin turns out a kaleidoscopic-clip for the single "Disappointed" off the band's latest full-length Commontime, out now on Memphis Industries. As Martin explains to Noisey, "It was partly inspired by me seeing (many years ago) the bullet time technique used in a Ryoichiro Debuchi film from the early 80s. We filmed these bullet time sequences on a freezing January day in the sports hall/gym of the Sans Street Youth and Community Centre (thanks to them!), which is in the East End of Sunderland. Pete and Dave used to play football there when they were younger, think their Mum used to work there." Watch below. Field Music will be LIVE on KEXP on Monday, March 28th at 4:00 PM PT, and playing The Crocodile on Tuesday, March 29th with Hazel English and Nolan Garrett. [Stereogum]

  • Earlier this month, we reported that Aesop Rock was releasing a new full-length, The Impossible Kid, out April 29th via Rhymesayers Entertainment. Today, he shares his take on the Pusha T single "Untouchable," adding lines about Guns N' Roses, Dr. Seuss, John Zorn, the Westminster Kennel Club, and Funyuns, to name a few things. He also raps the excellent verse: "I can feel the cat judging me, please / I've seen you eat your puke, and drink the toilet water / which completely renders your opinion void, you little fucker." [Pitchfork]

  • She claims she "Can’t Get Enough of Myself" in her latest single, but for the video, Santigold invites special guests Andy Samberg, Olivia Wilde, Jay Z, and Pharrell, and more. Watch below. The track appears on her latest full-length 99¢, out now on Atlantic. Santigold headlines the SOLD OUT Little Big Show #15 on Saturday, April 9th at the Neptune Theatre. [Spin]
