Not so much a film screening, but still part of the SIFF Face the Music Series: on Friday, May 27th, SIFF presents Oh, You Pretty Things!: A David Bowie and Glam Rock Dance Party at the Neptune Theatre. The evening will pay tribute to the fallen star, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 69.
The Neptune will be transported back to the sparkly '70s with sing-along music videos, non-stop dancing, and performances, including a Bowie-inspired burlesque routine featuring The Infamous Nina Nightshade, Maggie McMuffin, and Nikki Lev, and a set from tribute band BowieVision.
This event is 21+ only. Tickets or Platinum and Platinum Plus Passes are required for admission.
