Crocodiles - Telepathic Lover (MP3)
Known for fuzzed-out psychedelic garage rock with a hint of pop, San Diego duo, Crocodiles (Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell) have released the first single from their upcoming sixth LP, Dreamless. The album was recorded over a 6-week period in Mexico City with friend and occasional bandmate Martin Thulin. They’ve taken a sharp turn with the new release, eschewing their signature lo-fi guitar style for a surprising result... dreampop. “Telepathic Lover” is largely synthesizer and piano-driven, a completely new aesthetic for the established rockers.
Crocodiles will tour overseas in October, closer to the release of Dreamless (due October 21st), but stay tuned via their Twitter and Facebook pages for updates. For now, check out the official music video for "Telepathic Lover" below.
