Christine and the Queens released the fantastic sophomore record Chris in early fall to much excitement and acclaim. Today Héloïse Letissier has shared the third video off the album for the track “The Walker.” Directed by Colin Solal Cardo, the cinematic video follows Letissier walk through a desolate Latin town in a matador outfit while the townspeople stare at her suspiciously. As the video continues, we see a bull following behind her and eventually they’re calmly walking side by side.
“It is about the audacity of someone wounded,” says Letissier in a statement. “By exposing the wounds you can hurl yourself against violence before you are killed by it.” Watch the video for “The Walker” below.
The new single "Into the Fire" is the first we've heard from the band since 2013's Field of Reeds.
