The TDE-curated Black Panther soundtrack is being released this Friday and today the cinematic video for the Kendrick Lamar and SZA collaboration "All the Stars" has been released. Directed by Dave Meyers and the Little Homies (a collaborative creative group that includes Lamar and TDE president Dave Free), the vibrant video sees Lamar surfing through a crowd of people and wandering the woods with cheetahs while SZA spends most of her time dancing out in the galaxy amongst "all the stars." The Black Panther soundtrack features contributions from James Blake, Vince Staples, Khalid, Anderson .Paak, and more. [ Rolling Stone ]

Will Toledo is releasing an updated version of his 2011 Car Seat Headrest album Twin Fantasy next week. It's a re-recorded, re-imagined version that takes the previously lo-fi album to new heights. Toledo's previously shared "Beach Life-In-Death," "Nervous Young Inhumans," and "Cute Thing." Today the album's opener, "My Boy," has been shared. Toledo said of the new release: "It was never a finished work, and it wasn't until last year that I figured out how to finish it." Twin Fantasy is out February 16 via Matador. Car Seat Headrest will be playing an in-store performance at Easy Street Records on Friday, February 16, the day the album drops. [ Under the Radar ]

Minnesota electronic quintet POLIÇA and European orchestra collective s t a r g a z e are releasing a collaborative album on February 16 called Music for the Long Emergency. They've previously shared the lead single "How Is This Happening" and today we've received the second single "Agree," which sounds like it wouldn't have felt out of place on POLIÇA's last album United Crushers. "Agree" comes with a video directed by Maria Juranic which follows two outlaws in love. POLIÇA frontwoman Channy Laneagh says of the song: "In this long emergency of being human without a clue, we fall prey to the loudest, most powerful voices, and romantic love seems old-fashioned and usually oppressive. However, we still fall in love again and again." Music for the Long Emergency is out February 16 on Transgressive/Totally Gross National Product. Last week, garage rocker Kyle Thomas released his first King Tuff single since 2014's Black Moon Spell, "The Other." The song was a major departure from his previous material, more shimmery and melodic rather than in your face rock. Today Thomas has followed that up with "Psycho Star," which follows suit with a funky strutting sound. The song is accompanied by a very meta video by Cameron Dutra about the shooting of a video while focusing more on the interesting characters surrounding the shoot in the park. Thomas also announced that both songs will be on his forthcoming album The Other, which will be out April 13 via Sub Pop. [ Paste ]
