Lord Huron have unveiled a new song today called “Wait By The River,” from their forthcoming album Vide Noir. The introspective slow-burner follows the previously released singles “Ancient Names (Part I)” and “Ancient Names (Part II).” Band frontman and founder Ben Schneider says this about this song: "We wanted this song to feel something like a Raymond Chandler story, a desperate search through a rain-soaked, neon-lit city. The groove section in the middle is one of my favorite passages on the album." Vide Noir is out April 20 via Republic and follows 2015’s Strange Trails. Lord Huron will play a two-night stint at the Moore Theatre on Thursday, June 7 and Friday, June 8. [ Under the Radar ]

Americana singer-songwriter John Prine is releasing his first solo album of original music in 13 years titled The Tree of Forgiveness in a couple of weeks. Today, he’s shared the song “God Only Knows,” which features husband and wife singer-songwriters Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires. The duo have shared the stage with Prine a number of times, as well as have covered his songs so they’re a perfect fit to join Prine on the track. The Tree of Forgiveness is out April 13 on Prine's own Oh Boy Records. Prine will grace the Paramount stage on Saturday, September 22. [ Rolling Stone ]

Hinds are on the cusp of releasing their highly-anticipated sophomore album I Don’t Run. The Spanish quartet have also previewed the songs “New For You” and “The Club” off of the album. Today, they’ve shared the sunny, upbeat garage-rock song “Finally Floating.” A press release accompanying the single describes it as “perhaps the most bold and confident we’ve heard Hinds yet.” The song comes with a video that sees the band riding bikes around their hometown of Madrid. SZA has been on fire since the release of her debut studio album, Ctrl, last year. She’s keeping the momentum going by sharing a video for “Broken Clocks.” Directed by herself and Dave Free, Kendrick Lamar’s manager and collaborator, the video sees SZA at an innocent and joyous summer camp until we realize she’s actually a stripper who's been knocked out in a fight. While the video is fantastic, it’s apparently not the version she intended to release. Soon after it had been put out, SZA tweeted: “When an automated incorrect version of ur video drops in the middle of he night an there’s nothing u can do.” She’s since deleted the tweet. SZA will be in our neck of the woods on Saturday, May 5 to play the White River Amphitheatre with Kendrick Lamar for “The Championship Tour” which will also feature performances by Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and more.
