Today, following the album information leak yesterday, Father John Misty has officially announced his fourth studio album, God’s Favorite Customer. He also shared two songs off the album, “Just Dumb Enough To Try” and “Disappointing Diamonds are the Rarest of Them All.” Due for release on June 1 via Sub Pop and Bella Union, the album was written and produced Josh Tillman, and recorded with Jonathan Rado, Dave Cerminara, and Trevor Spencer. The tracklist includes previously the released song “Mr. Tillman.” Father John Misty will perform at this year’s Capitol Hill Block Party on Sunday, July 22. [ Paste ]

Mazzy Star have announced their first EP in five years, Still, and shared a song from it titled “Quiet, the Winter Harbor.” It’s one of the three new songs on the EP, which also includes an alternate version of their 1993 track “So Tonight That I Might See.” Still will be the band’s first material since their longtime drummer Keith Mitchell passed away last year. Danish post-punk band Iceage have unveiled the fourth and final single from their forthcoming album, Beyondless. “The Day the Music Dies” is a typically snarling track and follows previously released singles “Catch It,” “Take It All,” and the Sky Ferreira-featuring “Pain Killer.” Beyondless is the band’s first studio album since 2014’s critically-loved Plowing Into a Field of Love and will be released May 4 via Matador. On Thursday, May 10 Iceage will be in Seattle to play the Nordic Museum with Jenny Hval. [ Rolling Stone ]

British duo Let’s Eat Grandma have been releasing a string of experimental pop singles leading up to the release of their sophomore album, I’m All Ears, this summer. Today, a new one has been shared titled, “It’s Not Just Me.” The single was produced by SOPHIE and the Horrors’ Faris Badwan, who both also produced the lead single “Hot Pink.” A video for the song has also been shared. Directed by Balan Evans, it features the teenage girls dancing amongst a sunny picturesque backdrop. I’m All Ears is out June 29 on Transgressive. [ SPIN ]

Moses Sumney has only released one album, Aromanticism, but he’s already created a reputation for releasing stunning music and visuals. Today, Sumney revealed the visuals for early single “Quarrel” that were self-directed alongside Alli Avital, who directed the videos for “Doomed” and “Lonely World.” In “Quarrel,” we see gorgeous shots of Sumney and a horse in a winter wonderland but as the clip goes on, we find not all is at peace.
