Cleveland's Cloud Nothings announced a new album today titled Last Building Burning. The record will drop Oct. 19 through Carpark Records and follows last year’s Life Without Sound. The band have also shared the album’s lead single, “The Echo of the World.” Frontman Dylan Baldi says of the new album: “I’m obsessed with the idea of energy at the moment. That’s how I thought of this record: seven short, and one long, bursts of intense, controlled chaos. I wanted to make that come across in a way that can actually be felt.” The band has also announced a tour, with a stop in Seattle on Monday, November 5 at Neumos. Below, listen to “The Echo of the World” and watch Cloud Nothing’s most recent KEXP in-studio performance, from 2017.
