Psych-rock extraordinaires King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard are releasing a new album called Fishing For Fishies next month – their first LP since their incredible 2017 streak, where the Australian band released five albums in one year. Today, the band has shared the third single off the album, a rootsy ‘70s rocker called “Boogieman Sam.”
The harmonica-laden track follows previous the previously shared title track and “Cyboogie,” a recent KEXP Song of the Day.
Fishing For Fishies is out April 26 via ATO/Flightless. The band will embark on a US tour behind the album this summer, with a date in Seattle on Sunday, August 18 at the Paramount Theatre.
