May 18th marked the two year anniversary of Chris Cornell's passing, and last night, Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder paid tribute to his former Temple of the Dog bandmate with a cover of the song "Seasons."
"Seasons" was the first solo single Cornell had recorded, released via the Singles motion picture soundtrack (a film that featured cameos from both Cornell and Vedder). The emotional cover version from Vedder came at the end of a 27-song set at Düsseldorf’s Mitsubishi Electric Halle, following two encores.
