Earlier this month, Moog Music Inc. and Korg Inc. offered free downloads of some of their popular music-making apps to encourage creativity during this period of self-isolation. And, now the Roland Corporation have stepped up to share a free download of their Roland Zenbeats app for both iOS and Android.
For a limited time only, you can score the "Unlock" version, which allows you to "access all in-app features including eight instruments, 14 effects, plugins (VST/AU/AUv3 where supported), and additional store credits to add more content to a user’s library." You can create beats, make loops, and then export the file for collaboration.
With all these great musical apps being made free, we can't wait to hear what new music comes out of this stay-at-home period.
Two of the leaders in synthesizer manufacturing have offered up their apps for free to promote creativity during the coronavirus pandemic.
