Los Angeles-based DJ Stacy Christine first got into DJing under the wing of Joshua James of Music For Dancers (MFD) in 2012, where she struck up a friendship with Chris Bowen of Bears in Space. When MFD folded, Bowen took her on as a protégé, helping her land her first DJ gig in 2015 at Bowen and Victor Rodriguez's monthly Friday night party, Cub Scout, a wilderness-themed party at Silver Lake's gay institution, Eagle LA. Since then, she had her first monthly residency at Pitch Black City in DTLA with Chris Bowen and Victor Rodriguez, and became an official member of the DJ collective Critter Control. In the spring of 2018, she formed No Nonsense LA with DJ Sindri and Mike ETC. Miss Mgt., a techno-themed partnership with Bowen, that same summer.
You can catch Stacy Christine DJing anywhere from warehouse parties to Hollywood Forever Cemetery. She's opened for the likes of DJ Harvey, Heidi Lawden, Lovefingers, Discodromo, Jackmaster and Honey Soundsystem and Mark Farina. She's been billed at Sunset Campout, A Club Called Rhonda, Lights Down Low, Ostbahnhof, Summertramp, Tendencies and Midnight Lovers.
